Dr. Ohidul Alam is a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at the School of the Environment and Safety Engineering, Jiangsu University, China. With a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from East China University of Science and Technology, and a strong academic foundation through degrees from Tongji University and the University of Chittagong, Dr. Alam has developed a robust expertise in hazardous waste treatment, environmental materials, and pollution control. His research focuses on microplastics, heavy metals, coastal and wetland ecosystems, life cycle assessment, and sustainable waste management. Dr. Alam has authored 16 SCI-indexed journal articles and contributed to numerous international and national publications and conferences. His work spans academic and applied research, including leading roles in over a dozen projects related to environment, climate change, and sustainable livelihoods. In addition to his research achievements, he brings substantial experience in environmental consulting and academic instruction.
