Dr. Alexandros Kaloxylos is a Professor in the Department of Telecommunications Science and Technology at the University of Peloponnese. He holds a Ph.D. in Informatics and Telecommunications from the University of Athens, an M.Phil. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Heriot-Watt University in Scotland, and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Crete. With a rich academic and professional background, Dr. Kaloxylos has been actively involved in teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, covering topics such as wireless networks, telecommunications, protocol verification, and broadband network techno-economics. His research spans mobile and wireless networks, 5G/6G cellular systems, V2X communications, and cloud-based Internet services. Over the years, he has contributed to more than 30 European and national research projects and has supervised numerous Ph.D., Master’s, and undergraduate theses. Dr. Kaloxylos has also held key roles in industry, including serving as Principal Researcher and Head of the Radio Access Network Department at Huaweiās German Research Center.
