Dr. Rakha continued his academic journey at FEPS, completing his Master of Science in Economics in 2016. In 2017, he successfully passed pre-master courses in Economics at FEPS, demonstrating his commitment to academic excellence. Dr. Rakha recently completed his PhD in Economics at FEPS, Cairo University, in 2024. Dr. Anas Rakha has a wealth of experience in economic research, spanning both the public and private sectors. Since January 2013, he has served as an Economic Researcher at the Suez Canal Authority, where he has been instrumental in conducting research and analysis to support economic decision-making. Prior to this role, Dr. Rakha worked as an Economic Researcher at the Diplomatic Center for Strategic and Political Studies from 2010 to December 2012. In addition to his research roles, Dr. Rakha has represented the Suez Canal Authority at various international conferences and meetings, including WTO Meetings, MARLOG 7, and the Egypt Forth Trade Policy. He has also played a key role in several initiatives, including being a founding member of the “Egyptian Economic Vision” and “Ekne3ny Shokran” initiatives.
