Cailin Li, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Department of Surveying and Mapping Engineering at the School of Civil Engineering and Geomatics, Shandong University of Technology, China. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems from Henan University (2006), a Master’s degree in Cartography and Geographical Information Systems from Wuhan University (2008), and a Ph.D. in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing from Wuhan University (2011). With extensive academic experience, he has served as a Lecturer at Hubei University of Technology and later at Shandong University of Technology, where he was promoted to Associate Professor in 2018 and Professor in 2023.
