Dr. Mengjuan Chen, Hiroshima University, China
Mengjuan Chen, born in September 1994 in Nanjing, Jiangsu, is a dedicated researcher in the fields of computer vision and robotic visual measurement. Currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Smart Innovation at Hiroshima University (Oct. 2021 – Sept. 2024), Mengjuan holds a Master’s degree in Control Engineering from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (Sept. 2016 – Jun. 2019) and a Bachelor’s degree in Automation from Beijing University of Chemical Technology (Sept. 2012 – Jun. 2016). Her impressive academic journey is adorned with numerous accolades, including a National Scholarship, “Merit Student” and “Excellent Student Cadre” awards from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and top prizes in national industry automation competitions. Professionally, Mengjuan has been contributing to the Institute of Automation at the Chinese Academy of Sciences since July 2019, focusing on the research and development of structured light 3D cameras and high-speed 3D reconstruction systems. Additionally, she serves as the CEO of ZHONG KE SHI JIE (Nanjing) Technology Co., Ltd. Her experience also includes internships at Innovation Works AI Engineering Institute and Baidu, where she worked on visual algorithms and autonomous vehicle technology. Mengjuan’s technical skills and leadership in advancing robotic and computer vision technologies mark her as a notable figure in her field.
