Prof. Dr. Serhii Brychka (Brichka) is a leading researcher at the Gas Institute of the Ukraine National Academy of Sciences in Kyiv, specializing in thermo-chemical processes and nanotechnology. He has an extensive background in nanomaterials, having served as a researcher in various prestigious institutions, including the Department of Materials and Environmental Chemistry at Stockholm University and the Chemical Department of Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. Prof. Brychka holds a Doctorate in Technical Sciences from the Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design (KNUTD), where he developed scientific bases for creating functional materials with nanotubes. His academic journey began with a Ph.D. from the Surface Chemistry Institute of NASU and a Chemistry degree from Kyiv University. With over 25 publications in peer-reviewed international journals and numerous contributions to the field, he has been recognized with the Kyiv Mayor’s Award and serves on the editorial board of “Energy Technology and Resource Conservation.” Prof. Brychka is also an academic advisor to 18 MSc students and a member of specialized councils in technical thermophysics, industrial heat power engineering, and materials science.
