Han-Pang Huang, who received his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, USA, in 1986, has built a distinguished career at National Taiwan University in Taipei, Taiwan. Since joining in 1986, he currently holds positions as a distinguished professor and the Zhong Zhuo-Zhang Chair Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Graduate Institute of Industrial Engineering. His extensive research portfolio spans various fields including machine intelligence, humanoid robots, intelligent robotic systems, prosthetic hands, manufacturing automation, nanomanipulation, and nonlinear systems. Throughout his career, he has authored over 390 papers published in esteemed technical journals and conference proceedings, contributing significantly to the advancement of these disciplines. Han-Pang Huang is recognized as a Fellow of several prestigious organizations including the Chinese Institute of Automation Engineers, the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineers, and the Robotics Society of Taiwan, underscoring his profound impact and leadership in the field of robotics and engineering.
