Yi-Tian Hong was born in Penghu, Taiwan, in 2000. She embarked on her academic journey by earning a B.E. degree in the Department of Mechanical Engineering from National Taiwan University (NTU), Taiwan, in 2023. During her undergraduate studies, she laid a solid foundation in mechanical engineering, preparing herself for advanced research and professional endeavors.Currently, Yi-Tian Hong is pursuing an M.S. degree in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at NTU, Taiwan. Her focus is on conducting research in the Robotics Laboratory, where she specializes in fusion SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) techniques designed for both indoor and outdoor environments. This research area involves advanced technologies aimed at enhancing the navigation and mapping capabilities of robotic systems in dynamic and varied settings.In 2023, Yi-Tian Hong achieved significant recognition for her scholarly contributions by receiving the Best Paper Award at The International Automatic Control Conference (CACS). This accolade underscores her dedication to academic excellence and her innovative contributions to the field of robotics and control systems.
