Abdel Aziz Fathi Abdel Aziz Elfadaly is an accomplished researcher in the fields of remote sensing, archaeology, and cultural heritage management, currently affiliated with the National Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Sciences (NARSS) in Egypt. He earned his PhD in Cities and Landscapes from Basilicata University, Italy, where he focused on architecture, archaeology, and cultural heritage. With over a decade of experience in various research roles at NARSS, he has significantly contributed to the understanding of geo-environmental risk assessment and the management of archaeological sites through advanced remote sensing techniques. His scholarly output includes approximately 22 articles published in high-impact journals and presentations at 17 international conferences. Abdel Aziz has participated in significant international projects, including a collaboration with the European Space Agency, and serves as a reviewer and editorial board member for various scientific journals.
