Dr. Zhang has led over 10 national and provincial-level projects, including significant contributions to a National Natural Science Foundation project and a key national project. He has been granted 42 Chinese invention patents and one U.S. patent. In addition to his research accomplishments, he has edited two textbooks on robotics and received numerous accolades, including a second-class teaching achievement award in Shanxi Province, a “Good Design” creative award, and the Mechanical Engineering Society’s Outstanding Paper Award.
