Prof. Chao Fang, Beijing University of Technology, China
Dr. Chao Fang, born in December 1985, is an esteemed Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the Beijing University of Technology. He holds a Ph.D. from the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, where he studied under the guidance of Prof. Yunjie Liu. Dr. Fang further enriched his academic journey through a joint Ph.D. program at Carleton University, under the mentorship of Prof. F. Richard Yu.Dr. Fang’s professional career commenced with a postdoctoral position at the Beijing University of Technology, where he worked with Prof. Yanhua Zhang from July 2016 to July 2018. He also served as a postdoctoral researcher at Carleton University from January to August 2016, collaborating again with Prof. F. Richard Yu. In August 2018, he was appointed as an Associate Professor at the Beijing University of Technology, where he continues to contribute significantly to his field.Throughout his career, Dr. Fang has engaged in numerous international collaborations as a visiting scholar. These include tenures at Queen Mary University of London with Prof. Yuanwei Liu, the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization of Australia with Prof. Wei Ni, the Muroran Institute of Technology with Prof. Mianxiong Dong, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University with Prof. Song Guo, Kyoto University with Prof. Yasuo Okabe, and the University of Technology Sydney with Prof. Xi Zhu.
