Dr. Pemila M completed her M.Tech in VLSI Design from SASTRA University, Thanjavur, between May 2007 and May 2009. She holds a B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Periyar Maniammai College of Technology for Women, Thanjavur, affiliated with Anna University, which she earned from May 2003 to May 2007. Dr. Pemila’s foundational education includes her 12th Standard and 10th Standard, both completed at St. Joseph of Cluny Matriculation Higher Secondary School, NLC, during May 2002 – May 2003 and May 2000 – May 2001, respectively.

Dr. Pemila M has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Urbanrise Jubilee Residences, Tamil Nadu, since May 2022. Concurrently, she has been a Collaborating Teaching Assistant at the University of Bucharest, Faculty of Geography, since October 2018. Her past roles include coordinating the post-doctoral project “Field Investigation within Jiu River Basin” (COMPASS) from November 2020 to November 2021, and being a member of the AMIPAHYR Project (Methodological Approaches for Analyzing Anthropic Impacts on Rivers) from August 2016 to December 2017. She also contributed to the design and development of a bibliographic database on Forest Hydrology at FAO from December 2015 to January 2016.
