He also holds a B.Eng. in Electronics Engineering from Jilin Institute of Chemical Technology. Dr. Fakhri has held various academic and administrative positions at the University of Technology, Baghdad, including serving as a Lecturer (1994-2017) and currently as a Professor and Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs (since 2020). His research expertise spans nano-photonics, waveguide structures, optical materials, and alternative energy sources, with a significant impact in materials science and laser applications.
