Dr. Abdullah Ali Salamai is an accomplished academic and researcher currently serving as an Associate Professor at Jazan University in Saudi Arabia. With a robust educational background, he obtained his PhD in Risk Management with honors from the University of New South Wales, Australia, following an MBA from Texas A&M University Commerce, USA, and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management from Yanbu Industrial College, Saudi Arabia.Dr. Salamai’s research interests and expertise lie in the fields of risk management, particularly in supply chains, where he has developed an “Intelligent Decision Support System for Risk Management in Supply Chains.” This work has been recognized internationally, including prestigious accolades such as the Certificate of Excellence for Research Production and publication in high-impact journals like Expert Systems With Applications.Throughout his career, Dr. Salamai has held various leadership roles within academia, including Vice Dean for Research and Development and departmental committee memberships. He has contributed significantly to the academic community as a reviewer for esteemed journals such as IEEE Access, Computers, Materials & Continua, and Scientific Reports, among others.
