Prof. Dr. Hamid Ali Abed Alasadi is a distinguished academic and researcher, currently serving as the Head of the Computer Science Department at CSPS, University of Basrah, Iraq. His leadership roles include serving as the Head of the Computer Science Department at Basrah University (2012–2016) and the Head of the Communication Engineering Department at Iraq University College (2018). His research spans optical communications, optical fiber, information theory, wireless networks, sensor networks, fuzzy logic, neural networks, swarm intelligence, computer engineering, and artificial intelligence.
