NDAMIYEHE NCUTIRAKIZA Jean-Baptiste is a Ph.D. candidate in Natural Resource Management, specializing in remote sensing applied to forest and environmental management. He holds a Master’s degree in natural resource management, with a specialization in statistics and cartography applied to life sciences. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D., with his thesis defense imminent.Jean-Baptiste is also a teaching and research assistant at the University of Goma, where he teaches statistics, GIS (Geographic Information System), and natural resource management. Additionally, he leads a consulting firm, CAStOR, specializing in GIS and statistics. He has conducted consultancy work, including for UNESCO, on the use of drones in biomonitoring.At the University of Goma, since November 2016, he has been a Teaching and Research Assistant at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Environment. He teaches Cartography, Remote Sensing, Spatial Statistics, and Natural Resource Management and has published several scientific articles.

UNIVERSITY OF GOMA: Since November 2016 – Teaching and Research Assistant at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Environment. Teaching Cartography, Remote Sensing, Spatial Statistics, and Natural Resource Management.
CAStOR-DRC: Since January 2021 – Director of the consulting firm CAStOR “Cartography, Planning, and Statistics for the Optimization of Natural Resources.” Coordinating consultancy services in data collection and analysis, particularly in cartography and natural resource management. Organizing practical training sessions for the public.
