Han-Pang Huang, who received his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, USA, in 1986, has built a distinguished career at National Taiwan University in Taipei, Taiwan. Since joining in 1986, he currently holds positions as a distinguished professor and the Zhong Zhuo-Zhang Chair Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Graduate Institute of Industrial Engineering. His extensive research portfolio spans various fields including machine intelligence, humanoid robots, intelligent robotic systems, prosthetic hands, manufacturing automation, nanomanipulation, and nonlinear systems.
