Prof. Chi-Cheng Cheng, National Sun Yat-sen University, Taiwan
Chi-Cheng Cheng is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Electro-Mechanical Engineering at National Sun Yat-Sen University, Taiwan. He holds a Doctor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA, and both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Power Mechanical Engineering from National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan. Since joining National Sun Yat-Sen University, he has held several key academic and administrative positions, including Vice Dean of the College of Engineering, Chairman of the Department of Mechanical and Electro-Mechanical Engineering, and Director of the Engineering Technology Research & Promotion Center. He has also served as a Visiting Professor at Simon Fraser University and a Visiting Scholar at the University of British Columbia, Canada. His research interests span system dynamics and control, machine vision, intelligent robots, mechatronics, and man-machine interfaces.
