He earned his Docteur dā€™Etat ĆØs Sciences MathĆ©matiques in 1973 from UniversitĆ© Pierre & Marie Curie under the supervision of Prof. J.-L. Lions, with a thesis on ā€œModĆ©lisation des SystĆØmes Informatiquesā€.
